One Thing I would Change

One thing
What would that be?
My Great-Grandmother falling down the steps
Trying to get something she needed
Falls and breaks her leg

If I was there
What would I do?
Climb the steps for her
And get what she wanted
No legs would be broken

If her leg did not break
What would there be?
There would be no hospital
And her getting ill.

If she was not ill
What would happen?
She would not die
And be here with us today.

If she was with us today
How would life be for my family?
It would be filled with happiness.
It would be complete
No sadness

But, If she did fall
What would happen?
She would get ill
And pass

If she passed
What would there be?
There would be sadness and joy
The joy would come from us

Knowing she is in heaven
No longer suffering
And living peacefully with my Great-Grandfather
And my uncle Chris
