Dear Vanessa,
I have something very important to tell you. Something that I have not told anyone before. Before I tell you, I must ask that you please to do not get angry. You must likely well so I guess it was pointless to ask you of that. Here is my dark secret. I am a hard core Pokemon Fan. I love it. I have been watching it in secret eversense I was 6 years old and playing the games sense the age of 10. I know how much you hate it, but I could not help but love. My favorite pokemon is Squrtle. I love the Squrtle Squad. If the world was like the world of Pokemon, I would leave this town and pursue my dream of becoming a Pokemon Gym Leader. I hope this does not change how you see me as a sister. You are my only older sister and I really wish we could remain close.
Your Little Sister,
Tina

Rejection
A situation where a young Jewish girl was rejected by her whole family because she married a Russian man.
Xiomara- Interviewer
Chava-Jewish girl
Xiomara: Hello, Chava. I understand you had just went through a difficult situation.
Chava:...yes
Xiomara: Thank you. Can you tell me what happened?
Chava: Well, you know I am of Jewish decent. I have 5 sisters. Two are married Jewish men, while the other three are two young to be wed. I had made the mistake in falling in love with a Russian man.
Xiomara: How was that a mistake?
Chava: To me it was not. It was the best thing that had ever happened to me. But to my father, it was the worst mistake I could have made. My family strongly believes in Jewish women marring Jewish men. He had already chosen a man for me, but I did not love him. Once I told him about Fyedka, I was forbidden from having any interaction with him.
Xiomara: How did that go?
Chava: I did not listen. The more time I spent with him, the more I fell in love. I regret nothing. After that, we got married.
Xiomara: That is amazing. Congratulations!
Chava: Thank you.
Xiomara: How did your father feel about the marriage?
Chava: He did not approve and disowned me. I do not exist to him. I had never felt so free, but have never felt so unloved. Imagine, your own father telling you he loves you one day, but then the next day, he wants nothing to do with you. It was horrible. I have been married for 1 year and I have not spoken to my family sense the wedding.
Xiomara: I am sorry to hear that. I hope you and Fyedka live a happy, healthy life.
Chava: Thank you. I hope so too.
